Goldberg Segalla’s Jonathan Schwartz to Chair DRI’s Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium

The Insurance Law Committee’s Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium (ICP) will take place on December 4-5 at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City. The event will be chaired by Jonathan L. Schwartz of Goldberg Segalla’s Global Insurance Services Group.

ICP features top-notch education for coverage attorneys and claims professionals, with sessions by an associate judge of the New York Court of Appeals, insurance industry leaders, and nationally renowned counsel. ICP also offers opportunities for networking with the hundreds of attorneys and claims professionals who will attend.

This year’s topics include:

  • Current trends in bad faith litigation
  • Putting a human face on the insurer at trial
  • The latest developments in additional insured coverage
  • The future of the privacy offense
  • A Friday morning mini-theme on the duty to settle.

Please note that DRI members, who are In-House Counsel or Claims Executives, may qualify for free registration. In-House Counsel must be a member of DRI’s Corporate Counsel Committee. Claims Executives must be employed by an insurer or corporation and spend a substantial amount of their time hiring or supervising outside counsel. DRI members that are already registered for the seminar may invite one non-DRI-member guest, who qualifies as in-house counsel (and has not previously attended a DRI seminar as a guest) or a claims executive (as defined above and who has not already attended another DRI seminar in 2014 as a guest), to attend the seminar for free.

Registration, hotel information, and a link to the ICP brochure is available via https://dri.org/Event/20140140. Contact DRI’s Customer Service Department at (312) 795-1101 for further more information.
